About this event
In order to help women thrive in ministry, the Center for Women in Ministry at Beeson will host its first networking + professional development event. The purpose of this event is to bring women serving in ministry together so that they can know one another and learn from one another and to provide ongoing professional development. The topic for this professional development is on how to minister to women who are involved in sexual sin.
Dessert and coffee will be provided.
Ashley Chesnut, associate young adult minister at The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham and Beeson Divinity alumna, will lead this professional development event and speak on the topic of her new book, It’s Not Just You: Freeing Women to Talk about Sexual Sin and Fight It Well (B&H). This event is open to any woman in ministry. We will start with fellowship and networking over dessert, coffee and tea, and then move into a time of learning from Ashley. Every attendee will receive a copy of Ashley’s book. This event is free.
A virtual option is offered for the workshop for those who cannot attend in person.
