Hodges Chapel

Effective July 30, following new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), Samford University is requiring all persons on campus, regardless of vaccination status, to wear face masks in all public indoor settings.
A new initiative between the Center for Women in Ministry and Samford University's Preministerial Scholars, the Women-led Worship Night will serve as an opportunity for female students in Beeson Divinity and Samford's ministry-prep undergrad majors to lead a worship service for the campus and outside guests once a month. This opportunity also will allow undergrad women to be mentored and learn from female divinity students as it relates to preaching and leading worship. For the first Women-led Worship Night, divinity students Smyth Taylor will preach and Jess Leslie will lead in song. This event is open to both men and women.
