Many pastors and ministry leaders in complementarian circles are looking for guidance when it comes to re-imagining avenues for partnership with and the equipping of women in their churches. Church leaders desire to see the gifts of women unleashed for the health of their churches and for the development of the women in their congregations as disciples. This event, hosted by the Center for Women in Ministry and the Thriving Pastors Initiative’s Threads series, will provide pastors and ministry leaders with opportunities to grow, to be stretched, to think, to learn, and to hear best practices regarding fanning into flame the gifts of women in their churches. Imaginations will be stirred for what is possible and fruitful for the flourishing of partnerships with women in your ministry. Unlike many events on this topic that tend to focus on defending or debating positions, Dr. Joel Busby will provide us with constructive and healthy ministry practices that build up the whole body of Christ. Lunch is provided to all who register and attend. Joel Busby serves as the Pastor of Grace Fellowship in Birmingham, AL. He is graduate of Beeson Divinity School (M.Div, '11 and D.Min, '18). He is married to Mandy and they have three elementary-aged children. Joel serves and supports a few other ministry organizations, including Beeson's Center for Women in Ministry and the Harbor Network of churches.

This event will include a free lunch. Register here.
