Carl Beckwith is Professor of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School where he teaches church history and doctrine. His research interests include the Trinitarian and Christological thought of the Early Church Fathers, the use of the Fathers by the Reformers, and Lutheran theology. He is the author of Hilary of Poitiers on the Trinity (Oxford University), Johann Gerhard’s Handbook of Consolations (Wipf & Stock); Ezekiel and Daniel in the Reformation Commentary on Scripture series (IVP), The Holy Trinity, volume 3 of the Confessional Lutheran Dogmatics series (Luther Academy), and Martin Luther’s Basic Exegetical Writings (Concordia Publishing House).
