For this spring's Text to Sermon lecture series, we will be joined by several Birmingham community pastors as they go from Scripture text to the delivered sermon.

Fr. Michael Novotny will discuss how he went from the Advent text of Matthew 24:29-44 to the delivered sermon "What Hath Judgement to do with Advent?"

Father Michael Novotny has been the rector of Christ the King Anglican Church in Birmingham since June 2017. Father Michael graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University (B.A.) and Beeson Divinity School (M.Div) before receiving Holy Orders in 2016. He is married to the love of his life, Jennifer. Together they have four children, Levi, Priscilla, Ruth and Joseph.
