Beeson awards

Beeson Divinity School’s award-winning Marketing and Communication was recognized for the fourth consecutive year by two national awards, receiving the highest accolade for its 2021 marketing video and five first place awards.

The Religious Communicators Council’s (RCC) DeRose-Hinkhouse Memorial Awards awarded a Best in Class to the divinity school for its marketing video, “Beeson’s Community, In-Person Education a ‘Gift.’” The video was also the 1st place winner in the RCC’s Video: Promotional/Informational—Single Work category.

The school also won in two categories for photography with the RCC. The photo featured in the 2021 Beeson magazine article, “Persevering in Ministry During Challenging Times,” was the category winner for Photography: Article of Story—Single Work, and the magazine’s front cover photo was the category winner for Photography: Cover or Feature—Single Work.

The DeRose-Hinkhouse Memorial Awards are given annually to active members of the Religion Communicators Council who demonstrate excellence in religious communications and public relations.

Beeson Divinity also received four awards from the Baptist Communicators Association Annual Wilmer C. Fields Awards Competition, including two first place prizes for the school’s master’s brochure and the 2021 Beeson magazine cover.

The Fields award competition is designed to encourage professional excellence among association members and to recognize those members who have done exemplary work.
