This year’s special guest speaker for World Christianity Focus Week, the Rev. Dr. Jerry Kulah, serves as the District Superintendent of the Liberia Area United Methodist Conference (UMC). He is the West Africa Central Conference Coordinator of the UMC Africa Initiative, and the dean of the Gbarnga School of Theology, a United Methodist seminary in Liberia. He also has served as a local church pastor in Liberia, has represented the Liberia Annual Conference as a delegate, and has been a frequent speaker on the floor of United Methodist General Conference, the global gathering of United Methodists. He has been a leading voice for African United Methodists in recent years as the denomination has struggled with theological disputes over biblical authority, especially as it pertains to marriage and sexuality.
Complimentary lunch is included for those who register.
