For the first time, Beeson Divinity School is hosting a Preview Weekend. Prospective students who attend Preview Day on Friday, Oct. 21, have the option of extending their stay through the weekend in order to get to know Birmingham better.

On Friday, Oct. 21, attendees will visit a class taught by Dr. Paul House, hear from faculty during a panel, meet Dean Douglas Sweeney, tour the Global Center and meet its director Dr. David Parks, eat lunch with current students and more.

Those who stay through the weekend will have the opportunity to eat dinner with Dean Sweeney and his wife, Wilma, in their home, tour downtown Birmingham, visit a farmer's market, eat lunch with local Beeson alumni, visit local churches and more.

Standard Preview Day registration is free and includes Friday morning and afternoon activities. Registration for Friday evening and Saturday activities is $30 and covers Friday dinner and Saturday lunch. Some Saturday afternoon activities may charge admission fees (listed below.)

If you require overnight accommodations (Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday nights), Beeson will prorate your stay with the following rates: 1 night (free), 2 nights ($75), or 3 nights ($200).

Everyone who attends will have their $35 application fee waived! View the schedule and register here.

If you cannot make it to a Preview Day, you may also schedule an individual visit designed just for you.
