As part of World Christianity Focus Week, this year's guest, Timothy C. Tennent, president of Asbury Theological Seminary, will give a special Wednesday luncheon lecture in the Global Voices series on how theology is shaped by the global church.
Admitted Students Weekend is an opportunity for all newly-admitted students to spend time with the Beeson community, explore Birmingham and network with future classmates. Students also hear from faculty and staff about preparing well for seminary, course scheduling and class registration. Both students who have committed to enroll and those who are making a final decision are invited to attend.
The Atlanta Beeson Alumni Fellowship invites Atlanta-area Beeson alumni to dinner at No. 246 Restaurant on the private patio! Spouses are welcome to join. Every alum who attends will receive a copy of Beeson faculty member Dr. Josh Chatraw's recent book, Surprised by Doubt.
Join Beeson's preaching faculty for a day-long preaching workshop. Breakfast refreshments and lunch are included. All participants will receive three books--one by each participating faculty member. Tickets are $30 for Beeson alumni and community members. Tickets are $10 for Beeson Divinity School and Samford University students.

An opportunity for fellowship and networking with others working in internationals ministry in Birmingham over a complimentary meal. Registration opens Jan. 21.
The Birmingham Beeson Alumni Fellowship invites you to this family friendly gathering at the Birmingham Barons baseball game on April 18! Enjoy fellowship with other alums and their families and watch the game together. Adults tickets are $10, kids are free! We will email you your tickets a few days prior to the game. As part of the Spirit and Power Project, funded through the Lilly Endowment's Compelling Preaching Initiative, Beeson Divinity School will host its first annual preaching conference on campus this April. At this inaugural event, we will celebrate the faithful preaching and teaching ministries of Robert Smith, Jr., upon his retirement. More details are forthcoming.
