Grant D. Taylor joined Beeson Divinity School as associate dean for academic affairs in 2015. In this role, he oversees the faculty, degree programs and curriculum, and program directors of the school. He teaches courses in New Testament Theology and Greek Exegesis. He also has led two student groups for study tours of Israel. Before coming to Beeson, he taught New Testament and served as the assistant to the Provost, Bruce R. Ashford, at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (2010-15). From 2008-2010 he served in the office of the associate dean at Beeson Divinity School. He has published book reviews and articles in Christian Scholar’s Review, Southeastern Theological Review and Theological Education (forthcoming). His research interests include the Gospel of John, biblical theology and theological education. Currently, he is working on a book on vineyard imagery in the Bible. Taylor is an ordained minister in the Southern Baptist Convention. He is married to Rebecca, and they have two children. Together, they enjoy watching soccer (they once played it), the outdoors and sharing a meal with friends and neighbors on their back porch.
