My professors modeled a deep engagement with the riches of the biblical text in an interdenominational environment that opened my eyes to the breadth and beauty of the larger body of Christ. My experience, far from diluting my confessional and convictional Baptist heritage, actually enhanced and reinforced my commitment to Baptist distinctives. —Rev. Dr. David Eldridge (M.Div. 2004), senior pastor of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Birmingham
