Programs Mirroring Our Convictions
We believe the truths expressed in historic confessions of the faith, such as the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and significant denominational confessions. Therefore, we require students to acquire a solid understanding of history, doctrine, and pastoral theology so they can preach and teach the whole counsel of God. We believe the Bible is God's Word written. It is therefore fully trustworthy and able to teach us how to know our Lord and serve his people. Thus, we emphasize biblical theology and the ability to preach and teach directly from the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures.
We believe that a sound grasp of the Bible and theology reveals the need to walk daily with God and grow daily in love for him and our neighbors. So through spiritual formation courses we help students learn how to care for their souls and the souls of others throughout a lifetime of ministry.
We believe Jesus alone saves from the penalty, power, and presence of sin. Thus, we prepare to reach out to others through world missions, evangelism, preaching, ministry leadership development, cross-cultural ministry, and pastoral counseling courses.
We believe in Christian community, so we have a small student body and mentor our students. We worship together, eat together, and serve together.
We strive to make our lives conform to biblical truth. Let us know how we can help you do the same as you seek the place to prepare for further ministry.
