Beeson offers one of three merit-based scholarships to each full-time admitted student. Scholarships are awarded by the Admission committee and are based on the strength of the admission application (there is not a separate scholarship application). Applicants are notified of the scholarship award at the time of their admission decision
- Dean's Scholarship--$5000 per regular semester ($10,000/yr )
- John Wesley Beeson Scholarship--$2750 per regular semester ($5500/yr)
- Beeson Tuition Scholarship--$1500 per regular semester ($3000/yr)

*Following the acceptance of a student, Beeson asks for a non-refundable $200 deposit as confirmation of your intention to enroll for the coming semester. The deposit will be applied toward your student account upon enrollment.
Other Financial Aid
Current and prospective divinity students are highly encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine their eligibility for need-based aid programs such as federal work-study jobs and federal student loans. Follow the link above to access the form directly or contact Samford's Office of Financial Aid to get more information about need-based awards.
Processing time for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is up to four weeks. The FAFSA report is necessary for all student loan programs available through Samford University.
