Registering as a NACElink User on HireSamford.com
If you are a student or alumnus/alumna of Beeson Divinity School (wishing to post a resume, view available ministry positions, etc.)…
- Log on to www.hiresamford.com.
- Click on “For Students/Alumni.”
- Click on the button that reads, “Register.”
- Supply the requested information on the Student/Alumni Registration page. Be sure to provide information for all of the required fields, marked with a red asterisk.
- If you are an alumnus/alumna, please enter your mailing address in BOTH the “School Address” and “Permanent Address” sections.
- For “Major,” choose “Divinity.”
- For “Privacy: Include in Resume Books,” click on the “Yes” button.
5. Click “Submit.”
At this point in the process, you may close your browser and await an e-mail (from career@samford.edu) asking you to confirm your e-mail address. When the e-mail arrives, click on the confirmation link in the e-mail message.
Your registration information will come to the Beeson Placement Office for approval. When approval is given, you will receive a second e-mail message informing you that your account has been activated and providing you with your username and password.
If you are a church or ministry organization (wishing to post a position, view/download resumes, etc.)…
- Log on to www.hiresamford.com.
- Click on “For Employers.”
- Click on the tab that reads, "Register."
- Supply the requested information on your Church or Ministry Organization. Be sure to provide information for all of the required fields, marked with a red asterisk.
- Industry – Scroll down and click on “Ministry.”
- Description – Provide as little or as much relevant information about your church/ministry organization as you believe might be useful to students or alumni viewing a posted position in the future.
- Services Requested – Check the following boxes: Job Postings, Resume Book, and Profile.
5. Click “Submit.”
