Michael Garrett oversees the collection of
theological resources for Samford’s library and is director of Beeson
Divinity School’s media services. Before returning to the divinity
school in 2002, he was director of libraries at New Orleans Baptist
Theological Seminary. Before his service at New Orleans, Garrett worked
for the divinity school and served as assistant pastor for Woodland
Hills Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama. He and his wife, Amy, have
two sons.
