Grant D. Taylor joined Beeson Divinity School as associate dean for academic affairs in 2015. In this role, Taylor oversees the faculty, degree programs and curriculum, and program directors of the school. Before coming to Beeson, Taylor taught New Testament and served as the assistant to the Provost, Bruce R. Ashford, at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. From 2008 to 2010, he served in the office of the associate dean at Beeson. He has published an article and book reviews in the Southeastern Theological Review and served on its editorial board. His research interests include the Gospel of John, biblical theology, theological interpretation of Scripture, and theological education. Taylor is an ordained minister in the Southern Baptist Convention. He is married to Rebecca, who has been a missionary in Guatemala and Spain, and they have one daughter. Together, they enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and sharing meals with friends on their back porch.
